Listening: Did anybody else watch this show growing up? I remember "watching" it, but I was too young to really remember much. I had no idea until a few years ago that it's apparently set in Mississippi (or maybe Memphis, so almost MS). Being that I grew up there, it's really sad/strange to watch now. Still, it's kind of fun watching these older shows on ME TV now that we don't have cable.
Loving: We had our entire house painted, and it took over one week. I'm not a neat freak, but having all the blinds, wall decor, and everything else all over the floor for that long was driving me nuts. They finished Friday, and my wonderful hubby put all of the blinds back up this weekend. Now we've got to decide how we want to redecorate! Although maybe we should just start pulling out the Christmas decorations. Yeah, we're those people...I don't skip Thanksgiving, but I LOVE Christmas!
Thinking: Since our living room was covered with blinds, boxes, etc, I couldn't work out but one day last week (I don't do the gym because of Keagan, so my workout videos are all I have). Plus we've been doing a lot of eating out and some celebratory eating AND Keagan's Halloween candy. You get the picture. I really shouldn't weigh myself for a little while...
Wanting: On the bright side, I still have lost enough weight that my jeans are WAY too loose on me! It actually looks pretty bad. This weekend, I finally got smart and wore my jean capris I bought this summer (that were still a little loose, but closer). I mean, I'm wearing boots anyway. Who knows how long those pants are?
Needing: With a December birthday (2nd - can you believe it?) AND Christmas AND travelling to MS for Christmas, I need to really start making a list and checking it twice. We're going with a train theme for Keagan's birthday, and I've started pinning ideas. Praise God I had a REALLY great month in my TPT store (I mean, not like top seller or anything, but it was almost twice what I made in September, which had been my best sales month) because I've got some shopping to do!
Yummy Pin: I have SO many, and I haven't tried almost all of them. Let's be honest. I don't cook. AND I have a little one = not much free time. These are probably the sweets I most want to make, though. Someone made them at my baby shower over two years ago, and I'm still thinking of them!
Note: I couldn't find the exact location, but if you click on the picture, it will take you to a recipe that matches. It may even be the original - Kraft recipes. They look simple enough that I could probably handle it on my own!
Oh, and speaking of recipes, I'm thinking this month's theme for Teacher Fitness Tuesday (November 21 this month) will be sharing a "Skinny" food recipe.
You know we'll need lots of great ideas for eating yummies while not over-doing it! I'm really excited about it and may go ahead and do my post early. And I may have to share a few good ones. Tell your friends!
Late to the party? I'm pretty sure I've posted a Currently somewhere in the late teens of a month before. I am also struggling to find a workout time. I was running outside in the mornings before school, but it is TOO COLD for that nonsense now! And finding time to go to the gym has been rough. I just need to suck it up, set a schedule, and stick to it.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, after looking at some of your other posts I must agree that mayo is disgusting! Finally, someone who agrees with me. : )
Haha, so glad I'm not the only weirdo who is just grossed out by mayo! I wish I could convince myself to go running, but I just can't. I don't like being alone. PLUS I work out in the morning and don't feel comfortable running in the dark.
DeleteOh those Oreo Truffles are divine. Seriously. And this is why I refuse to make them... I'll eat them all!
ReplyDeleteWasn't there some quote about "society always arrives late" when it comes to parties? I guess that means we're society! Congrats on losing weight, that's an awesome excuse to go shopping! Meanwhile, I'm struggling not to make those Oreo Truffles!

We used to make "Oreo Truffles" all the time when we were in high school, except we weren't classy and called them "Oreo Balls." I just remember one kid at school at 6 in one sitting and got sick! I am looking forward to posting in your linky this week! I have been experimenting with healthy baking substitutes and have had some successes that I would love to share!

I love Oreo Truffles! They are my go to recipe if I need a dessert to bring to a party! I so need to get a head start on my Christmas shopping early too! I keep thinking that if I could buy things early when there are sales that I might avoid the last minute, who cares how much it costs I just need a gift, craziness!

ReplyDeleteI think it is totally ok to start decorating for Christmas soon! I want to see pictures! Do you get snow at Christmas time? That is the worst thing about living in Australia - Christmas = summer!
