I'm SO glad to have a quick day off before the kids start tomorrow. Perfect timing to do Farley's Currently!
Listening: Steven took Keagan to see Ghostbusters at the movies for the 30th anniversary, so I am enjoying some "me time" watching Safe Haven on Netflix while I check blogs and get things ready for my giveaway that starts tomorrow!
Loving: I reached 1,000 followers while I was on vacation a few weeks ago, so I spent last week getting things together for something amazing. It all starts at midnight EST!
Thinking: Tomorrow is the beginning of my 9th year of teaching. Of course, in my new position, the first week of school is a lot easier. My craziness begins the second or third week, when I start pulling groups.
Wanting: I always love buying new clothes. Nothing specific, though.
Needing: I just finished sorting all of the fantastic sellers who donated to my giveaway into days and have created the images (just finished that), but I still need to do the rafflecopters and set up the posts to go live at the right times. It's going to be a 5-day giveaway, so at least I can just do one day at a time.
3 Trips: Europe is on my big list, but specifically London and Italy. I can't choose just one place in Italy because it all seems so gorgeous. As for Alaska, I really want to be able to go whale watching, and Alaska just sounds so beautiful! Of course, I hate cold so I want to go when it's the warmest!

Okay, I've mentioned it all over, but here are the details. I will be holding FIVE days of giveaways (and some may have two chances to win) from Tuesday-Saturday. Each giveaway will run for one week before closing. Be sure that you're already following me so you can see them go live (midnight EST) and have the best chance to win!
Thanks Megan (I Teach. What's Your Superpower?) for the awesome clipart/background! |
Now go link up with Farley by clicking on the currently above, then come back at midnight when my celebration begins!
Good luck on your first day tomorrow! And your blog name is adorable. :) I love it!
ReplyDeleteAww, thank you!! I'm kind of obsessed with Mo Willems and his books!
DeleteSafe Haven is one of my favourite Nicholas Sparks movies! I am such a sucker for his books and movies. I will be back tomorrow for your giveaway!!!!
ReplyDeleteCheers,

Me too!! I just have to spread out when I read them. I've only read one of his this year (The Best of Me), but it also lived up to the expectations. Good luck on the giveaway!
DeleteI've been to Alaska in the summer and it's gorgeous with perfect weather! Good luck on your first day of school.
ReplyDeleteI put Alaska, too! A bunch of people go whale watching in Washington as well.... It would be so fun :-) Maybe someday...!
ReplyDeleteWe start school this week, too. I'm ready to see those kiddos!

Congrats on your milestone! I will be heading back to enter!
ReplyDeleteI can neither confirm nor deny that I read The Notebook. If I did read it, I certainly will not say that I cried. I did, however, read and watch A Walk to Remember. That movie has an incredible soundtrack and it made me appreciate Mandy Moore so much more. She makes some incredible albums...so much better than the bubblegum stuff she made at the beginning of her career. Does this have anything to do with your post at all?
ReplyDeleteHaha! That's awesome that you "won't admit" to liking The Notebook. I cry every. time. I watch the movie. And then I read the book a few years later and cried again. It's so bad that I've gotten to the point where I read the last page of his books so I know who dies. Safe Haven is my favorite though!
DeleteI so want to go to Europe too! My husband is not a big world traveler, so I would need a good friend to go with me and show me the ropes! Have fun on your first day today. I know what you mean about the craziness not starting right away. I get bored those first few days and long for the craziness to start! Have fun!

Reading Toward the Stars
Looks like we can travel together. I would LOVE to go to London. It just feels like it would be the perfect fit for me. Italy would've been next on my list too. I'd eat and drink my way through that country with no problem! :-) Thank you for your amazing giveaway! I'm proud to be a part of your celebrations!
